2–3 Minute Talk Script
Dropped object prevention safety is critical during elevated work. Even small tools can cause serious injuries when dropped from height.
Tools should be secured or tethered when working overhead. Materials should be staged to prevent rolling or sliding.
Barricades or exclusion zones must be established below elevated work areas.
Workers below should never pass under overhead work unless controls are in place.
Safety Reminders
- Secure tools and materials when working overhead.
- Establish exclusion zones below elevated work.
- Maintain good housekeeping at height.
