Underground utilities should be located, marked, verified, and exposed by approved methods before excavation or driving stakes and posts.
Cords, plugs, receptacles, tools, generators, and temporary wiring should be inspected and protected from damage, water, traffic, sharp edges, and unauthorized alterations.
Ground-fault protection and the project's grounding program should be used as required, especially for temporary receptacles and portable equipment.
Electrical installation, testing, troubleshooting, and work near exposed energized parts should be limited to qualified and authorized workers using the required procedures and PPE.
