Safe handling of industrial fans is important in hot work areas, confined spaces, and ventilation tasks. These fans move large volumes of air and must be handled carefully.
Workers should inspect cords and plugs for wear. Damaged insulation can expose live wiring.
Different fans have different guard designs. Workers should ensure guards are intact so no objects or fingers enter the blade path.
Placement matters. Fans should not block exits or create trip hazards with their cords.
