2–3 Minute Talk Script

Safe pouring and mixing of liquid products is important for painters, janitorial teams, utility operators, and manufacturing workers. Transferring liquids can create splash hazards and chemical reactions if mishandled.

Workers should pour slowly, use funnels when needed, and ensure containers are stable on level surfaces. PPE such as goggles and gloves helps prevent injuries.

Different liquid products have different mixing instructions. Adding water to certain chemicals may cause violent reactions, so workers must always follow manufacturer guidelines.

Working in well-ventilated areas reduces the risk of inhaling fumes during mixing operations.

Safety Reminders

  • Use funnels or controlled pour spouts.
  • Wear eye and hand protection.
  • Follow mixing instructions carefully.
  • Ventilate the work area.
