2–3 Minute Talk Script
Slips, trips, and falls remain one of the most common workplace injuries in construction, warehousing, utilities, and manufacturing. These incidents usually happen during normal movement—not high-risk tasks—which makes awareness and housekeeping especially important.
Uneven ground, hoses, extension cords, tools, and debris create tripping hazards. Wet weather, mud, or spilled liquids increase the risk of slipping. Workers should slow down in congested areas and keep pathways clear.
Warehouses often face pallet debris or shrink-wrap tails. Construction sites may have unstable ground or rebar stubs, while utility crews might encounter wet grass or slick surfaces near water infrastructure. Each environment requires continuous housekeeping.
Encourage workers to report poor lighting, icy areas, or recurring clutter issues. Improving surfaces, rearranging workflow, or relocating equipment can drastically reduce fall incidents.
