The installation plan should follow the truss manufacturer's and designer's requirements for delivery, staging, lift points, sequence, temporary restraint, bracing, connections, and permanent stability.
Trusses should be stored upright or flat using stable supports that prevent tipping, sliding, damage, and unauthorized access.
Hoisting and placement should use suitable rigging, tag lines, controlled-access areas, and clear communication so workers remain outside the suspended-load and swing path.
